A Little Welcome Tour! Hello, Substack.
Some pointers on how to navigate content & what's coming next.
This Substack has been up and running for a solid six days now, so I thought it would be good to give everyone a little peek around to see what’s here, and to share my plans for content to come.
First, if you somehow found us natively through Substack and not through Twitter, you should know that a fair bit of daily content is still Twitter-first. There’s no place to livetweetstorm like the bird app, so throughout the day, there will still (and always) be Twitter updates and conversations that don’t make their way over here. So, make sure that you follow us over yonder.
Second, I’ve been sharing nightly-ish updates on Substack, then notifying people via Twitter, in lieu of sending an email every night for incremental updates to the latest status post. You can find those daily/nightly updates here on Substack in the Spotlight 🔦 post.
Third, I plan to use Substack to do additional deep dives into various conceptual areas, such as the actual deal with mDAU, the particularities of the claims in Twitter’s complaint, and (coming soon!) a summary of the second amended counterclaims. These are posts that I expect to be living documents: places to have discussions in the comments and via updates to the post text itself, so that they also serve as reference points for later consultation.
Mike Masnick from Techdirt released the podcast we recorded earlier this week, which covers some in-depth aspects of the unique features of the Court of Chancery. If you haven’t caught the podcast recorded last week with Big Technology, you can give it a listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
As always, the Ask Me Anything AMA thread is open to paid subscribers, and I encourage you to request content that interests you. Additional excellent (if I do say so myself) content is already in the works based on previous requests, including:
