hi all my favorite people
welcome to the nerdly world of corporate law and litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery...
I will make you fall in love with this stuff. But, to be fair, you’re probably already well on your way if you are reading these words.
Fair warning, as of this moment—I have no idea how Substack works. I am probably sending (or not sending) weird email notifications simply by typing this post, and I apologize in advance for the awkward phase at the beginning where I’m tripping all over myself trying to get this set up.
I’m not going to publish any actual content on the free Substack basis, because I want to keep faithful to my followers on Twitter and post all public content there (and I see no reason to try to duplicate efforts over to the non-paywall version of this Substack…so, either follow me on Twitter for free, or join the community here as a paid member. But obviously, do both.
If you truly cannot afford the Substack fee, DM me on Twitter and we’ll work something out. I’m not here to be a hardship, I’m here to guide us all on an awesome journey, and—I’m pretty sure this is the best part—in the process, create an incredible community of law-nerds, critical thinkers, and other nuance-obsessed folks like me.
Because there are big issues out there, and I truly believe the only way through the morass is to dive deep into it.
So, let’s!
Hi Oracle of Chancery...
I know I'm asking a lot (forgive me, for I KNOW what I do), but I hope you will cover (in some fashion) the Musk/Solar City appeal before the Delaware Supreme Court when it goes down. Since it had its beginnings at the Court of Chancery, consider it unfinished business.
Thank your for you TIRELESS efforts in educating your peeps. Your devotion to us is remarkable.
And the Artwork...let's not forget the Artwork...so cool.
The Wombat has landed.
